Forest essentials - Bhringraj and Shikakai hair cleanser review

Hey lovelies!

Since after my daughter turned an year old I have been having crazy hairfall and I have literally tried everything to stop it. There are going to be a lot of posts related to hair care in future! The first step I took was to go organic and avoid sulphate, silicone and paraben laden shampoos and conditioner.

I first tried the Khadi satritha herbal hair cleanser which was the cheapest one and it was a disaster,so next time I went for an expensive shampoo hoping it would work. I bought the forest essentials hair cleanser ( bhringraj and shikakai) and to be honest though it was much better then khadi which made my already dry and frizzy hair super dry and super frizzy,it wasn't that great in controlling my hairfall or the frizz.

I bought a 50ml bottle which lasted a month for me and thus 8 washes which was enough for me to decide whether to invest in it or not.

Here are a few pics:

The consistency of this shampoo is not too runny and it is greenish in color. If you oil your head heavily and you would need to shampoo twice to remove all the oil if using this shampoo and it lathers quite decently. It did not make my hair drier than they already are which was good. But it did not help me in controlling my hairfall at all. It was just that I was using an organic product. It did not make my hair softer or shinier than they usually are. It literally had no "plus effects" on my hair,it did not make any difference just that it did not make them worse than they already are.

I would summarize the review below:

Cost: Rs 325 for 50ml (good for 8 washes for shoulder length hair)

Completely natural and organic
Paraben and sulphate free
Did not make my hair drier
Lathers well

Very costly
Did not add any wow factor or any other advantage
Does not helps with hairfall
Does not makes hair softer or shinier

Rating: 3/5

Would I buy it again: I might try some other variant with the conditioner from same brand to see if it actually does anything. But that's far fetched as of now.

P.S.: These are my own views regarding the product on its usage

Soul Tree - True Brick shade lipstick review

Though I am a lip gloss fan instead of lipsticks,I have got few of them which I would like to review. This month I got the soul tree lipstick in true brick shade as part of my October fab  bag.I really liked the shade as its quite natural and seems a bit orangish brown.

The lipstick was packed very nicely and I just loved the fact that it is organic and an ayurvedic product. It claims to consist of almond oil and essence of rose. It seems to be true as the lipstick is quite moisturizing and smells good. The lipstick also lists that it has organic ghee for healing, moisturizing and lightening dark lips and honey for giving a natural pink glow. It is a certified natural product by BDIH. Look how cutely it is packed.

The lipstick really suits me and is looking quite natural and beautiful. I even got a compliment!
Check out how it looks on application. It isn't that dark even on applying 2 strokes.

The only drawback of the lipstick would be it's staying power. It doesn't stays as …

Fran Wilson Moodmatcher lipstick - Pink review

Hey dear ladies! I know it's been a while since I posted something but Mumbai to Hyderabad shift had kept me busy all along. We finally got a good place to stay and settled in now. Got the internet connection this Monday :) Loving the weather in Hyderabad,Mumbai was so hot!!! Here it is really pleasant currently and gets cold at night a bit.

Coming back to the review, I am going to provide my feedback regarding the moodmatcher lipstick in Pink shade I got in my august fab bag. For starters let me tell you,it is awesome! I loved the shade, the staying power and it suits my skin tone really nicely.

This lipstick is called moodmatcher because it claims to change color with your mood though I didn't notice anything like that. Also, it comes in bizarre shades such as green, black, blue, orange, yellow. But on application they turn to different shades of pink, some light, some dark.

The lipstick I got wasn't in any of those shades but pink itself. :)Look at the beautiful lipstick:

Ital Veloce Valvatina fragrance review

Hey dear ladies! I was packing for our one day trip to Lonavala and I wanted to pack a good perfume and this wonderful fragrance sample I got from Fab bag in August came handy. The perfume is from Ital Veloce in Valvatina fragrance.

I got a cute little 12 ml fragrance which will last me few months for travelling and random use. It looks pink and the fragrance is really girly and awesome. The fragrance is neither too mild nor too strong and it lasts for a very good time. One day I applied it in morning while leaving for office but when at night I met hubby he complimented me for smelling so good.

Look how cute the tiny little wonder looks:

I am really enjoying this fragrance,it is flowery and fresh.
Cost: The regular size bottle of this perfume is 210 ml and costs Rs 499
Pros:  Smells really good Good fragrance power, lasts long Affordable
Cons: Couldn't think of any
Rating: 4/5
Would I buy it again: No, it is not as good as one of the itra I use which I prefer to be my signature fragrance.
