Green Mint Cooling Foot Scrub - Spa Ceylon Ayurveda review

Hey ladies! I usually try to spend some time on weekends on pampering myself with a long hot bath or a pedicure or applying pack on hands, legs and face for removing tan. This me time provides a sense of joy and calmness to me. It hardly takes an hour or two of your day.

Today, I am going to review a foot scrub which I have been using since past 3 weeks for pedicure. The name of the scrub is Green Mint Cooling Foot Scrub and its by the brand Spa Ceylon Ayurveda.
As the name suggests its a mint based scrub for your feet.I received this scrub in my October fab bag. This is the second mint based product I am reviewing after the minty lip balm.Is mint the new trend in cosmetics?

The first thing that I encountered about this product was the packaging. It comes in cute green jar tub and when you open it, it is covered with a foil to prevent the spilling of product. As soon as I removed the foil a very pleasant minty smell struck me. It is just lovely.Just have a look at the product yourself.

I am sorry for the picture quality ladies but I can't seem to find the battery charger of our DSLR. We have unpacked everything but it seems to be misplaced. So these are mobile pics in past few posts. Rest I had clicked earlier in the cam when I received the products.

Coming back to the review, the scrub is not very harsh and has very fine scrub particles in it.It claims to consist of green mint, margosa, virgin coconut and lemongrass oil. It also claims to be Paraben free,100% vegetarian and not tested on animals. I love all these facts about the product. Plus it claims to help remove rough patches, hard skin and lightening discolouration among many other. Have a look at the claims:

On application after scrubbing it provides a cooling effect on your feet as claimed like mint. I completely adore this product. The only disadvantage it seems to have is the price. It retails for around Rs 1100 for 200g of the product. But 200g will last really long! I received a 50 g sample of this product which is good enough for 10 usages I guess. I have used it thrice till now.I wish there was a smaller tub available for this scrub.

I would like to summarize my review for this product as below:

Cost: Rs 1100 for 200g pack and you can buy it here

Pros:
Very nice smell
Ayurvedic, paraben free,100% vegetarian, not tested on animals
Provides a nice cooling mint effect on application
Scrub particles really fine and provide good exfoliation

Cons:
Expensive

Rating: 4/5

Would I buy it again: Yes,if a smaller tub is available

Priya

P.S.: These are my own views regarding the product on its usage

Soul Tree - True Brick shade lipstick review

Though I am a lip gloss fan instead of lipsticks,I have got few of them which I would like to review. This month I got the soul tree lipstick in true brick shade as part of my October fab  bag.I really liked the shade as its quite natural and seems a bit orangish brown.

The lipstick was packed very nicely and I just loved the fact that it is organic and an ayurvedic product. It claims to consist of almond oil and essence of rose. It seems to be true as the lipstick is quite moisturizing and smells good. The lipstick also lists that it has organic ghee for healing, moisturizing and lightening dark lips and honey for giving a natural pink glow. It is a certified natural product by BDIH. Look how cutely it is packed.

The lipstick really suits me and is looking quite natural and beautiful. I even got a compliment!
Check out how it looks on application. It isn't that dark even on applying 2 strokes.

The only drawback of the lipstick would be it's staying power. It doesn't stays as …

Fran Wilson Moodmatcher lipstick - Pink review

Hey dear ladies! I know it's been a while since I posted something but Mumbai to Hyderabad shift had kept me busy all along. We finally got a good place to stay and settled in now. Got the internet connection this Monday :) Loving the weather in Hyderabad,Mumbai was so hot!!! Here it is really pleasant currently and gets cold at night a bit.

Coming back to the review, I am going to provide my feedback regarding the moodmatcher lipstick in Pink shade I got in my august fab bag. For starters let me tell you,it is awesome! I loved the shade, the staying power and it suits my skin tone really nicely.

This lipstick is called moodmatcher because it claims to change color with your mood though I didn't notice anything like that. Also, it comes in bizarre shades such as green, black, blue, orange, yellow. But on application they turn to different shades of pink, some light, some dark.

The lipstick I got wasn't in any of those shades but pink itself. :)Look at the beautiful lipstick:

Ital Veloce Valvatina fragrance review

Hey dear ladies! I was packing for our one day trip to Lonavala and I wanted to pack a good perfume and this wonderful fragrance sample I got from Fab bag in August came handy. The perfume is from Ital Veloce in Valvatina fragrance.

I got a cute little 12 ml fragrance which will last me few months for travelling and random use. It looks pink and the fragrance is really girly and awesome. The fragrance is neither too mild nor too strong and it lasts for a very good time. One day I applied it in morning while leaving for office but when at night I met hubby he complimented me for smelling so good.

Look how cute the tiny little wonder looks:

I am really enjoying this fragrance,it is flowery and fresh.
Cost: The regular size bottle of this perfume is 210 ml and costs Rs 499
Pros:  Smells really good Good fragrance power, lasts long Affordable
Cons: Couldn't think of any
Rating: 4/5
Would I buy it again: No, it is not as good as one of the itra I use which I prefer to be my signature fragrance.
