Votre-Fresh Cooling Sun protection mist review

I subscribed to Indian beauty subscription box- Fab bag around six months ago. I have received hoards of products since then. Today, I am going to review one of the products I received which belonged to Votre. Honestly, I haven't even heard of the brand when I received it.But I found this sun protection cooling mist really interesting and have been using since last 3 months.

The unique thing about this sun mist is, it comes in a liquid form,it looks like water and you have to dab it on your face and neck and let it dry. It dries in a minute and is really refreshing. It claims to protect you at with SPF25 which is good enough for daily purpose but certainly not enough for a beach vacation :D

Look how watery it is:

It is like a toner in consistency. It claims to be comprised of lemon extract, grape seed extract and noni fruit etc and I like the fact it has lesser chemicals and more herbal products. Also, this product has a pump applicator for oozing out the right amount of liquid as opposed to many liquid toners. This also fascinated me.

I had a very bad tan due to my frequent beach vacations to Goa and nothing seemed to help. But since I have been using this my tan has reduced a lot. I even used this during my recent Goa visit and liked the results.

This product costs Rs 400 for 50 ml but it goes a long way. I have been using the 50ml bottle since 3 months and it seems that it will last for 2 more months.

Good applicator

More herbal,less chemicals

SPF25 quite effective

Doesn't makes your face oily after application

Good pump applicator

1) I had several breakouts since I started using this product and I doubt if the sun mist is the culprit as I am not using any other product on my face(true fact). The last breakout was 4 years back,so since last 2 days I am not using it to check if it helps reduce the breakout. Will update the post with results after few weeks.I have an oily facial skin and the weather here is quite humid and hot currently.

Update: No effect on the breakout

2) On washing your face the liquid drips down and you get its bitter lemony taste in mouth, which I would really wish to avoid. You would need to first remove the sun mist with damp cotton then splash water on your face.

Would I buy it again: No, I would like to try some other creamy sunscreen instead of a liquid one

Rating: 3/5

P.S.: These are my own views regarding the product on its usage

Soul Tree - True Brick shade lipstick review

Though I am a lip gloss fan instead of lipsticks,I have got few of them which I would like to review. This month I got the soul tree lipstick in true brick shade as part of my October fab  bag.I really liked the shade as its quite natural and seems a bit orangish brown.

The lipstick was packed very nicely and I just loved the fact that it is organic and an ayurvedic product. It claims to consist of almond oil and essence of rose. It seems to be true as the lipstick is quite moisturizing and smells good. The lipstick also lists that it has organic ghee for healing, moisturizing and lightening dark lips and honey for giving a natural pink glow. It is a certified natural product by BDIH. Look how cutely it is packed.

The lipstick really suits me and is looking quite natural and beautiful. I even got a compliment!
Check out how it looks on application. It isn't that dark even on applying 2 strokes.

The only drawback of the lipstick would be it's staying power. It doesn't stays as …

Fran Wilson Moodmatcher lipstick - Pink review

Hey dear ladies! I know it's been a while since I posted something but Mumbai to Hyderabad shift had kept me busy all along. We finally got a good place to stay and settled in now. Got the internet connection this Monday :) Loving the weather in Hyderabad,Mumbai was so hot!!! Here it is really pleasant currently and gets cold at night a bit.

Coming back to the review, I am going to provide my feedback regarding the moodmatcher lipstick in Pink shade I got in my august fab bag. For starters let me tell you,it is awesome! I loved the shade, the staying power and it suits my skin tone really nicely.

This lipstick is called moodmatcher because it claims to change color with your mood though I didn't notice anything like that. Also, it comes in bizarre shades such as green, black, blue, orange, yellow. But on application they turn to different shades of pink, some light, some dark.

The lipstick I got wasn't in any of those shades but pink itself. :)Look at the beautiful lipstick:

Ital Veloce Valvatina fragrance review

Hey dear ladies! I was packing for our one day trip to Lonavala and I wanted to pack a good perfume and this wonderful fragrance sample I got from Fab bag in August came handy. The perfume is from Ital Veloce in Valvatina fragrance.

I got a cute little 12 ml fragrance which will last me few months for travelling and random use. It looks pink and the fragrance is really girly and awesome. The fragrance is neither too mild nor too strong and it lasts for a very good time. One day I applied it in morning while leaving for office but when at night I met hubby he complimented me for smelling so good.

Look how cute the tiny little wonder looks:

I am really enjoying this fragrance,it is flowery and fresh.
Cost: The regular size bottle of this perfume is 210 ml and costs Rs 499
Pros:  Smells really good Good fragrance power, lasts long Affordable
Cons: Couldn't think of any
Rating: 4/5
Would I buy it again: No, it is not as good as one of the itra I use which I prefer to be my signature fragrance.
