Maybelline Baby Lips - Berry Sherbet review

Hello everyone,

In this post I am going to review the Maybelline Baby Lips range lipgloss in Berry Sherbet color.Maybelline is a very popular brand of cosmetics and I have a fetish for lip sticks and lip glosses. A while back Maybelline launched a series of colored lip glosses and I really wanted to try that out.The cost of this lip gloss is 175 Indian Rupees.

I really liked the shade Berry Sherbet as red does wonder on my skin tone. The color appears to be quite dark when you see it but on trying it was giving a very light shade of the color and was matching a little bit of red. This lip balm is also available in other shades like spicy cinamon(coffee color) and tropical punch(pink color). As soon as you open it you get a nice fragrance which I quite liked.

It comes in a very nice package as you can see in the pictures below:

It claims to have SPF 20 which would protect your lips out in sun. On application though the lip gloss doesn't leaves too much color as expected and comes as nude. See the swatch on my hand. I got the color only on third stroke. Else, it was just working as normal vaseline.

Even on lips the shade doesn't comes quite as much as expected. But the gloss itself is really good and moisturizing for your lips. This lip balm claims to stay for 12 hrs but it stays for 4-5 hours even on eating and I am happy with this fact.

Overall the pros and cons would be:

Good moisturizing
Nice smell
Not costly
Staying power good

Color doesn't comes out properly

I bought this lip balm mainly for the color but it didn't come as expected. There are lots of lip balms in the market and the color factor induced me to buy this but it doesn't works well in providing a good texture of color on lips. It just leaves a subtle hint on 2 strokes of the color.

Would I buy this again: No, I would like to try some other lip gloss if I want color and not just a hint

Rating: 3.5/5

P.S.: The views mentioned above are my own regarding the product on its usage.

Soul Tree - True Brick shade lipstick review

Though I am a lip gloss fan instead of lipsticks,I have got few of them which I would like to review. This month I got the soul tree lipstick in true brick shade as part of my October fab  bag.I really liked the shade as its quite natural and seems a bit orangish brown.

The lipstick was packed very nicely and I just loved the fact that it is organic and an ayurvedic product. It claims to consist of almond oil and essence of rose. It seems to be true as the lipstick is quite moisturizing and smells good. The lipstick also lists that it has organic ghee for healing, moisturizing and lightening dark lips and honey for giving a natural pink glow. It is a certified natural product by BDIH. Look how cutely it is packed.

The lipstick really suits me and is looking quite natural and beautiful. I even got a compliment!
Check out how it looks on application. It isn't that dark even on applying 2 strokes.

The only drawback of the lipstick would be it's staying power. It doesn't stays as …

Fran Wilson Moodmatcher lipstick - Pink review

Hey dear ladies! I know it's been a while since I posted something but Mumbai to Hyderabad shift had kept me busy all along. We finally got a good place to stay and settled in now. Got the internet connection this Monday :) Loving the weather in Hyderabad,Mumbai was so hot!!! Here it is really pleasant currently and gets cold at night a bit.

Coming back to the review, I am going to provide my feedback regarding the moodmatcher lipstick in Pink shade I got in my august fab bag. For starters let me tell you,it is awesome! I loved the shade, the staying power and it suits my skin tone really nicely.

This lipstick is called moodmatcher because it claims to change color with your mood though I didn't notice anything like that. Also, it comes in bizarre shades such as green, black, blue, orange, yellow. But on application they turn to different shades of pink, some light, some dark.

The lipstick I got wasn't in any of those shades but pink itself. :)Look at the beautiful lipstick:

Ital Veloce Valvatina fragrance review

Hey dear ladies! I was packing for our one day trip to Lonavala and I wanted to pack a good perfume and this wonderful fragrance sample I got from Fab bag in August came handy. The perfume is from Ital Veloce in Valvatina fragrance.

I got a cute little 12 ml fragrance which will last me few months for travelling and random use. It looks pink and the fragrance is really girly and awesome. The fragrance is neither too mild nor too strong and it lasts for a very good time. One day I applied it in morning while leaving for office but when at night I met hubby he complimented me for smelling so good.

Look how cute the tiny little wonder looks:

I am really enjoying this fragrance,it is flowery and fresh.
Cost: The regular size bottle of this perfume is 210 ml and costs Rs 499
Pros:  Smells really good Good fragrance power, lasts long Affordable
Cons: Couldn't think of any
Rating: 4/5
Would I buy it again: No, it is not as good as one of the itra I use which I prefer to be my signature fragrance.
